Lama Amro

Lama Amr is the Executive Director of BuildPalestine, leading national efforts to grow a thriving social innovation ecosystem. She designs and runs programs that empower changemakers to launch and sustain social enterprises, from early ideation to long-term growth. Under her leadership, BuildPalestine has become the go-to platform for social entrepreneurship in Palestine, supporting over 80 projects that collectively raised more than $1 million in crowdfunding. Lama is also co-founder of the Founder Institute Palestine, the local chapter of the world’s largest pre-seed accelerator, where she has guided 27 tech startups through five cohorts, shaping Palestine’s entrepreneurship landscape.
